Technical data and website security

When you open a page, the server and network infrastructure process HTTP request data: IP address, requested URL and any parameters, request time, browser and device details from headers, and the previous page address if your browser sends it. Technical, security and error logs support page delivery, service availability, abuse prevention and diagnostics.

The legal basis is J.P. Atelier's legitimate interest in security, abuse prevention, service availability and diagnostics under Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Technical and security logs are kept for as long as needed for these purposes. The criteria are the need to detect and handle security incidents and abuse, and diagnose service availability and operational issues. No single retention period in days has been established for these logs.

Infrastructure providers and data transfers

We use Hetzner to host the origin server in Germany, Cloudflare for the CDN, reverse proxy and protection in front of that server, and Microsoft services for email. These providers take part in processing data within the services they provide to us.

Cloudflare receives technical request data. Browsers supporting network reporting may also send Cloudflare network error reports, which may contain the requested URL, referring URL and technical error details.

Processing takes place primarily within the EU/EEA. Some infrastructure providers may also process data outside the EEA, subject to applicable safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, where applicable. You can request information about safeguards for a specific transfer and how to obtain a copy using the contact above.

Cookies and browser storage

Analytics and advertising tracking are disabled in this release. The site does not send analytics events or set tracking cookies. Previously saved consent choices do not enable measurement. The application does not write new consent choices to local or session browser storage.

Disabled tracking does not remove technical processing needed to communicate with and protect the site. Depending on the protection applied, security infrastructure may use technically necessary cookies; this notice does not claim that all infrastructure cookies are disabled.

Calculator

The calculator works locally in your browser. The site does not send its amounts to the server, save them in cookies or browser storage, or include them in the page URL. No name, email address or guest data is required.

Contact by email

The contact link opens your email application. This site has no enquiry submission form; a message is sent only when you send it yourself from your email application. We then process the sender's address, message content and attached information to reply and handle business correspondence.

For sales and service enquiries that are steps taken at your request before entering a contract, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. For general business correspondence unrelated to a contract, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding and conducting business correspondence under Article 6(1)(f).

The [email protected] mailbox uses Microsoft services. Neven Palčec and sales staff at J.P. Atelier have access to enquiries. There is currently no automatic forwarding or CRM integration for enquiries. Business email enquiries are retained for up to five years based on message age; this is the current retention policy, not a statement of a statutory retention period.

Sending an enquiry is voluntary. We need contact details and relevant information to reply; without them, we may be unable to respond or prepare the requested service. Do not include unnecessary guest data, passwords or calendar access links in your message.

External links

External links lead to sites including MyRent, SyncBeds and J.P. Atelier. The site does not add parameters from the URL you opened, campaign tags, ad click identifiers or calculator data to these links. When you open an external page, its server receives the usual request data from your browser. External sites have their own data processing and privacy information.

myRent d.o.o. makes decisions concerning MyRent services and enquiries; Syncbeds d.o.o. does so for SyncBeds. Their relationship with the publisher is explained on the About page. This notice applies to channel-manager.info.

Your rights and complaints

You may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. The right to portability applies where the GDPR's conditions are met, for example automated processing based on a contract. The scope of each right depends on the conditions set out in the GDPR.

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details above.

If you believe processing infringes data protection rules, you may complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) or another competent supervisory authority.
